We are currently at 5 imports to every 1 export – the widest imbalance in recent history within Southern California ports. Drayage carriers have greater success in returning your rented chassis and empty containers back to the terminals when there is a dual appointment able to be made; it is recommended to utilize steamship lines that operate with a strong export capacity to maximize your return success during this trade imbalance.
It is highly recommended to get your delivery orders out as early as possible to secure the capacity and secure appointments!
