More Articles Added to the Proposed Section 301 Airbus EU Dispute

The United States Trade Representative (USTR) published in the Federal Register an additional 89 tariff subheadings with an approximate value of $4 billion to the initial list of tariff subheadings valued at $21 billion. This is in response to public comments and additional analysis of the original proposed Section 301 to enforce U.S. rights in the Airbus dispute.

In the event the Arbitrator issues its decision prior to completion of the public comment process on the supplemental list, the USTR may immediately impose increased duties on the products included in the initial list and take further possible actions with respect to products on the supplemental list.

The Section 301 Committee will convene a public hearing at 9:30 a.m. on August 5, 2019 in

The U.S. International
Trade Commission,
500 E Street SW,
Washington DC 20436

You must submit requests to appear at the public hearing by July 24, 2019.
