Duty Drawback. Why It Matters Now?

U.S. Customs announced on July 3, 2018, that the additional 25% duties imposed on Chinese goods effective July 6, 2018 under Section 301 Action are eligible for drawback.

These new duties will have significant impact on the price of goods imported from China, which will no doubt increase your cost of goods and affect your bottom line. If these goods are later exported, you may qualify for a refund on those extraordinary duties paid on the import.

DSV can help you reclaim much needed revenue for your business and reduce your cost of goods sold by providing a free evaluation of your drawback potential.  Please contact us for further assistance at drawback@us.dsv.com.
